MISE A JOUR DU SOFTWARE
You will need the following items in order to do a flash upgrade:
A PC running Microsoft Windows XP with a CD-RW or DVD-RW drive and a connection to the Internet.
One blank CD-R (no CD-RW) disk.
The Packard Bell DivX100 player.
The remote control of your DivX100 player.
The DivX100 player's firmware can be upgraded using a firmware CD. Packard Bell has prepared a number of support downloads that can automatically create a DivX100 firmware CD on a blank CD-R disk.
In order to successfully create a firmware CD, do the following:
Download the desired DivX100 firmware version.
Start the downloaded file by doubleclicking it, and follow the onscreen instructions to create the CD.
Having finished the steps above without any errors will give you a CD-R disk that contains the firmware for your DivX100 player.
To upgrade the firmware of your DivX100 player, do the following:
Switch ON your TV set and the DivX100 player.
Insert the CD-R disk that you have created, and close the tray of your DivX100 player.
The message "Loading" appears. After a couple of seconds, the following message will appear:
Upgrade file DETECTED
Press Play to Start.
Press the Play button on the remote control of the DivX100 player.
The message "file copying" will be displayed for a few seconds.
Next, a message "Upgrading" will be displayed.
After a few seconds, the tray of your DivX100 player opens. Please take out the CD and leave the tray open.
Make sure neither the Divx100 player nor the remote control are used till the upgrade process has finished.
The DivX100 player will automatically restart itself.
After the DivX100 player has restarted itself, it is ready for use. You may want to verify if the firmware has been upgraded successfully. To do so:
Press the Conf button on the remote control of your DivX100 Player.
In the Configuration menu, press the following number sequence: "1379".
The top row (Version) will display the version number of your firmware.
Press Conf again to return to normal mode.
